| Thank you for taking the time to check out our website and the sport of VW (Volkswagen) Beetle racing. Reynolds Racing came together in 2002 with the birth of the Slug Bug Division at Sandia Motor Speedway in Albuquerque New Mexico. The Slug Bug division is made up of race converted 1960 to 1978 Volkswagen beetles and super beetles racing on a 1/4 mile paved oval track. As a 3 car racing team, we have introduced young and old to this unique sport. Our team as such, has inspired those to follow their dreams of racing. Enjoy the new and improved site that we hope will keep you better informed about events, races, and our division here in New Mexico. Congratulations to the 2008 Slug Bug Champion Larry W.
